Following our meeting a couple of weeks ago when people were asked if they would like to have a holy hour or some other form of spiritual input, many thought that this would be a good idea. Fr Pat will hold a holy hour for Readers and Ministers of the Eucharist at 7.00pm on Thursday 12 March at St Therese School.

There will be half hour of exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and then we will spend sometime reflecting on the Holy week celebrations and our involvement as readers and ministers in the Easter Triduum.

Please do  your best to attend as it will be beneficial to ourselves to come together in prayer and, in the longer term, beneficial to our parish as a whole.

Just a thought…

“Lent is perceived righty as a time for giving things up and denying ourselves. But why don’t we turn this idea on its head? Maybe we can see Lent as a time for us to take things up which will help us grow closer to God”. (Bible Alive)

Once again, many thanks for all you do in the parish.

Look forward to seeing you on the 12 March.
