Welcome to our parish!

Canon Alan Sheridan

Welcome to the St Thérèse of Lisieux Parish website.

St Thérèse of Lisieux Parish is in Ingleby Barwick, Stockton-on-Tees in North-East England and is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Middlesbrough.

The parish was founded in 1994 and we were delighted to open our new church building in March 2016 having celebrated Mass in various venues around Ingleby Barwick, most recently in the school hall at St Therese of Lisieux Primary School.

We are an active Parish and have regular courses for sacramental preparation including Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist and Marriage. We have a course for adults who are interested in becoming a member of the Catholic Church.

Lay ministry is important to the church and we have a regular team of welcomers, eucharistic ministers, ministers of the word and children’s liturgy leaders. We depend up the time and hard work of our church cleaning group and gardening club. We are always looking for new members of these groups and you can find out how to become involved by looking on the relevant page on our website.

If you would like to become a part of our parish you are more than welcome to attend mass. Canon Alan is always around at the back of church if you would like to know any further information.
