Our Auction of promises is another way of supporting the Parish to raise funds and is a promise of goodwill that will be auctioned for money and bought by other parishioners.  The offer could be as simple as a taxi service one evening to and from Yarm.  It could be to cut someone’s grass, walk a dog, or even to cook a meal for someone. The list is endless and the value is in the eye of the beholder!  Making a promise is also an ideal way for all ages in the Parish to get involved in fundraising.

As important as offering this good will, is attending the auction to raise money by bidding for the promises.

The auction will be held on Friday 29th May from 6.30 pm at the School, followed by shared tables where you can chat with friends and bring some food/wine.

Leaflets to take away and complete are at the back of church and these should be returned and placed in the big box labelled Promises.
