The 5th of March marks the fifth anniversary of the first ever Mass at our Church. Time certainly flies!

The Mass started with a procession from the School Hall, where we had celebrated Mass for too many years to mention.

Items we use during Mass, such as the Lectionary and Chalices were processed, signifying the movement of the parish’s centre of worship from the School Hall to our new church.

We all finally found ourselves in our new church building, a feeling of joy for the whole parish community. It is strange seeing everyone squeezing into the church through our post COVID eyes where keeping your distance has been the norm.

Hopefully, as COVID vaccination rates increase and restrictions begin to reduce we will soon be able to meet again regularly in unlimited numbers as before and use our beautiful church in the months and years to come.
