CAFOD is inviting everyone to sign up to the Big Walk for Water Campaign during Lent.

On Saturday 20 February, join our virtual walk in solidarity with people who need to walk to collect clean water, and in community with hundreds of people in England and Wales.

Take part in our virtual (lockdown-proof!) challenge event on your own, with your family, or your bubble. Let’s get fundraising and help give the boot to water poverty!

How to join in

Take the following steps(!) to join the Big Walk for Water:

  1. Set up your JustGiving page.
  2. Order a poster (or download below) to let others know about the event.
  3. Choose a route. We’re suggesting five miles, or 10,000 steps, but any distance will work!
  4. Make sure you take plenty of photos on the event and share them using #walkforwater and @CAFOD.
