Our Sunday Children’s Liturgy is aimed at children used to the structured environment of school. They must be able to sit quietly and listen to the scripture readings and ask and answer questions about the message behind those readings.

Over the past few weeks it has been difficult to provide a meaningful liturgy. This is in part due to the large number of children who attend the liturgy in and the few helpers who are available. As a result of this we have had to make the difficult decision to ask that only children in year 1 of school and above attend the childrens liturgy.

If we are able to recruit more helpers we should be able to split the group so we can also provide a simpler liturgy for younger children in nursery and reception years.

If you think that you would be able to help please speak to Sarah or Irene after Mass on Sunday.
