Wednesday the 17th of February is Ash Wednesday. Marking the start of Lent, we will have two Masses where Ashes will be distributed. Ashes will be distributed differently this year as part of the changes made due to the COVID pandemic.

After the usual prayers of Blessing, the priest with pronounce the formula that is usually said when receive the ashes just once. When we go to receive the ashes they will be sprinkled on our head rather than on the forehead as they have always done in Italy.
