Stained glass, created by acclaimed designer and artist Alfred Fisher MBE, are to form a centre point for our new church.

The panels  were originally made in the 1960’s and were reclaimed from the St John of God Chapel during the Rockliffe Hall hotel and golf club development. Having used some of the panels as a backdrop to the hotel spa, Rockliffe Hall has donated the remaining panels to the Diocese of Middlesbrough for incorporation into our new church.

Alfred Fisher, who has designed windows for Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey, became famous for a stained glass technique called ‘Dalle de Verre’ which is derived from the French for Glass Slab.

The new church is quickly moving towards completion so keep your eye open to see when the windows will be fitted.
