2020 has been a year of waiting, waiting for lockdowns to start and end, waiting to arrange and organise major life events such as weddings and baptisms and waiting for a vaccine for COVID. We now enter into the season of Advent when we wait for the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ.

We already have experience in taking up new projects during lockdown to ease and prepare ourselves and we should try and do the same during Advent.

You will find resources on this page that will help you in your preparation for Christmas Day.

Attend Mass during Advent

From the 2nd of December the church can open for collective worship. All safety precautions are in place. If you are unable to attend you can join us over our mass live streams.

So what can we do during Advent to ready ourselves for Christ?

You can use the CAFOD online Advent Calendar to help you focus on Scripture and take action during Advent.
