REFLECTION:

It is difficult as a priest and now Vocations Director not to take both Ezekiel’s and Our Lords words to heart. The people need shepherds – they are lost and lonely. But of more concern to me is the many wandering “sheep”. Our parishes are emptying at a frightening rate. So often we have ministered just to those who have stayed but the Good Shepherd went in search of the one who strayed. Today’s readings are a call to action for all of us – for good, new shepherds but above all, we must
