Our St Vincent de Paul Society group are collecting food for the Thornaby Foodbank and the Mary Thompson Fund (John Paul Centre, Middlesbrough). The Food Bank really needs the following foodstuffs: Rice pudding, tinned sponge pudding, Tinned fruit, 500g bags of sugar, 1kg bags of sugar, long life milk, long life fruit juice, cordial (squash), tinned meat, tinned fish and tinned spaghetti.
The collection box is located at the back of church, collection on the 1st Weekend of the Month.

The group are also collecting old British or foreign coins and banknotes. There is a container at the back of church where you can deposit the money. Have a look down the back of the sofa or in your travel currency box. Every little helps with the currency being converted and used to help local and national charities.

Many thanks for all those who donate.
