It is a little over two weeks since construction started on the church building and the transformation of the site has been dramatic. From the initial creation of soil mountains to the flat site you can see now. It is only now that you can appreciate the scale of the site and eventually the church itself.

As the building progresses it brings ever more into focus the huge task we have in raising money to ensure the church is furnished for the opening Mass. Our last fundraising event at the auction was a success and our next event is the parish racing night which I would invite everyone to attend.

Those parishioners who have made pledges towards the church building fund will have either received or be receiving letters to turn these pledges into donations. We hope to be able to convert as many of those pledges as possible.

We have raised almost £40,000 of the £100,000 we aimed to raise and we hope the speed of fundraising will speed up as we start to pick the items of furniture and the fixtures and fittings we want for the church.

Our fundraising page has information on how you  contribute to our fundraising activities.

We would be grateful for any donations of non-perishable items brought into school on Friday, October 18th, ready for our Harvest Mass at St Therese of Lisieux Parish on Sunday, October 20th, at 11 a.m.
All are welcome to attend!
Thank you for your continued support!
