Angela O’Brien, the chief lay chaplain for NPCAT schools, is leading on an initiative of an initiative to help the people of Ukraine.
A container of goods is being shipped out to Ukraine next week and the secondary schools in the Trust have been asked if they would be a collection point for goods received

Items will be collected from St Patrick’s College on Tuesday the 15th of March and so we would ask for any donations to arrive by Monday(tomorrow).

Specific items are requested and these are:

  • Clean bottled drinking water
  • Dried non-perishable food (rice, pasta etc it is going in a container and will be driven overland so nothing that will perish can be sent)
  • Warm winter coats
  • Blankets
  • Sleeping bags
  • First aid kits
  • Hot water bottles
  • Thermal flasks
  • Baby food
  • Nappies
  • Toiletries and sanitary products

Please restrict your donations to the items listed above as other types of donations will not be able to be taken.
