St. Vincent de Paul Society (Yarm & Ingleby Barwick)Food Bank Appeal
Figures released earlier this month by the Campaign to End Child Poverty revealed that 4 out of 10 children in Middlesbrough live below the poverty line. Your local SVP is organising a collection of food on the first Sunday of every month for the Middlesbrough Food Bank and we would really appreciate your help. Food banks are now feeding record numbers of people across the country. The Middlesbrough Food Bank provides local people in crisis with a minimum 3 days’ emergency food. Your support will help to stop local families going hungry.
How can you help ?
It couldn’t be easier. When you do your next weekly shop, please help by buying an item or two from the Shopping List below and leave them at the back of Church/School after Mass on the first Sunday of every month. The SVP will then deliver all donations to the Food bank.
