St Therese of Lisieux RC Primary School

Welcome to St Thérèse of Lisieux Catholic

Primary School, a Voluntary Catholic Academy

At St Thérèse of Lisieux, our school mission ‘To Live in Love’ is at the heart of everything we do and our relationships, expectations, standards and practices are based on these words from our special saint – St Therese of Lisieux.

We have a very enthusiastic, hardworking staff team who love what they do and support our pupils in all aspects of their development.  We are proud of our curriculum which aims to provide exciting, challenging and creative learning opportunities which our children find ‘impossible to resist’. We encourage our children to recognise that there are no limits to their success if they believe and we celebrate success at every level.

We celebrate the happy, welcoming atmosphere of our school as we are committed to extending a warm welcome to all members of the school community.  Staff, governors and parish work in very close partnership:  we also enjoy a high level of parental support for which we are most grateful.

As  a Catholic school our aim is to provide a context of Catholic education in which children develop a personal relationship with Jesus and their lives are enriched with Gospel values. We recognise the importance of positive relationships  and are particularly committed to developing our pupils’ self esteem and believe that this is the foundation for successful learning.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information or would like to visit.

In its light, I sail a straight route

I have my motto written on my sail…
